The avant-garde district of Porta Nuova will see a new addition to its iconic skyline: I Portali.
Sustainability and innovation are at the heart of the project above all.
I Portali, designed by the studio ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel will host the new headquarters of KMPG. The two towers are part of a district where modern skyscraper architectures are concentrated, housing the main commercial and financial offices.
We created stunning visualizations for this exciting project in Milan’s most innovative hub.
The creation of the visual communication of I Portali of Gioia 20 was challenging, as the entire facades of the two buildings are technologically advanced, fully glazed, and covered by photovoltaic panels.
It was interesting to insert the buildings within the urban context of Porta Nuova, a central area of Milan. We’ve done a number of drone inspections thanks to the possibility to create a precise insertion in the area. We captured the best shots for photo insertion, so we get the best result.
I Portali will be part of an area that has undergone a radical transformation in recent years. Porta Nuova in fact already houses large modern architecture. For this reason, has become a reference for both citizens and tourists.
The project consists of a pair of multi-functional multiservice towers. Dedicated to eco-sustainability and new construction technologies.
Realizing the renders the greatest challenge was to realize the material of the facade indeed. Photovoltaic panels cover the entire exterior face.
We achieved the most realistic effect by scanning the sample of material used on the facades. We applied it to the model and did numerous tests. To this end, we arrived at the most realistic result.
